This policy explains what information totallyrelentless.com (“we”, “us”) collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Totally Relentless is a website publishing guides about building an online business. Our address is https://totallyrelentless.com.
Information we collect
- Contact form. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, subject and message by email so we can reply. The form does not store your message in our website database. A hidden anti-spam field (honeypot) checks that the form was filled in by a person; it does not use cookies or third-party services.
- Server logs. Like every website, our web host automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting and are kept for a limited period by our host.
- Comments. Comments are currently turned off, so we do not collect comment data.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. To see which pages are popular, we count visits with Koko Analytics, a self-hosted tool that runs on our own server: it does not set cookies, does not send data to third parties and does not build a profile of you. It stores page view counts and the website that referred you, not your name or IP address. WordPress sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. Our caching system may set a technical cookie that does not identify you.
Products and Gumroad
If you buy one of our products, the checkout takes place on Gumroad, not on this website. Gumroad collects the details needed to process your order under its own privacy policy. On product pages we load Gumroad’s script so the checkout can open; that script connects to Gumroad’s servers.
Third parties
Our fonts and author images are served from our own server. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only when required by law or to protect the site from abuse.
How long we keep data
Contact emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your message. Server logs are kept and deleted on our host’s schedule.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, for example California or the European Union, you may have additional rights under local law. To make a request, use our contact form.
Children
This site is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
